Privacy Policy

What we collect

Boring Game Micro (micro.boring-game.com) is a collection of small free browser games made by Boring Game ("we"). We use Google Analytics for Firebase to learn which games people enjoy and which ones get shared. When analytics is on, it records:

• which pages and games you open, and game events such as starting a round, finishing it, the level you chose, your time or score, and whether you tapped a share button (and which app you picked);
• general technical details: browser, device type, screen size, language, and approximate location (country or city) that Google derives from your IP address;
• a random identifier stored in a cookie (_ga) so repeat visits can be counted.

Google Analytics does not log or store IP addresses. We have turned off all advertising features: no ad cookies, no ad personalisation, and we don't sell or share data with advertisers. Detailed analytics data is kept for at most 14 months and then deleted automatically.

Your choice

If you're in Europe (EU/EEA, UK or Switzerland), analytics stays off until you tap OK on the cookie bar. Everywhere else it's on by default. Wherever you are, you can change your choice here at any time; it's remembered on this device.

Stored on your device

Games save things like your best times, sound and appearance settings in your browser's local storage, and we remember your cookie choice there too. This never leaves your device, and clearing your browser data removes it.

Other services

• Hosting. The site runs on Google Firebase Hosting, which keeps standard server logs (including IP addresses) for security and reliability.
• Fonts. Some pages load fonts from Google Fonts, so your browser connects to Google's servers to fetch them.
• Sharing. When you share a game, it goes through your phone's share sheet or the app you pick (WhatsApp, X, Facebook, Telegram, Reddit or email), and that app's own privacy policy applies. Shared links contain a tag saying where they were shared from, not who shared them.

Children

The games are for a general audience. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children, and nothing here asks for any.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR in Europe, or Israel's Privacy Protection Law), you can ask to access or delete data about you, or object to its use. Because the analytics data is pseudonymous, the simplest way to stop it is the button above. For anything else, email us at info@boring-game.com.

Changes

If we change what we collect, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
