How to play Tilt
Tilt is a sliding block puzzle on a frozen lake: get the red block into the ice-fishing hole in as few moves as you can, around snowbanks and ice cubes.
- Tilt the lake: swipe up, down, left or right (or use the arrow buttons or keys). Every block slides that way at once until it hits a snowbank, the edge, or another block.
- Sink the red block: it drops in the moment it slides over the hole, even if it would have kept going.
- Use the ice cubes: they're too big to fall in, so they skate over the hole. Park one to stop the red block where you need it, or on the hole to block the way.
Each level's par is the fewest moves possible, so matching it is a perfect solve. There are 400 levels in ten lakes of 40, from two-move warm-ups on a 6×6 pond to 25-move brain teasers on an 8×8 lake. Each lake starts gentler than the last one ended, and solving a level opens the next ones. Your best on every level is saved on your device.
Today's ice and today's board: every day one level is today's ice, the same for everyone: gentle on Mondays, a brain teaser by Sunday. Tap Today to play it, locked or not. The clock runs to a tenth of a second from your first move. Fewest moves wins today's board, and ties go to the faster round. Your first win of the day gives you a funny name, like Soggy Waffle, which you can change by swapping either word. Only your best round of the day counts, and a new ice and board start at midnight UTC.
